The website was originally developed through a collaborative research process, made possible through the support of The John Templeton Foundation (grant ID 62963). The research team brought professional backgrounds in General Practice, psychology, theology, medical ethics, spirituality in healthcare, social work and music therapy. People with lived experience of eating disorders, carers, healthcare providers and Christian leaders and pastoral carers from Australia and New Zealand generously shared their experiences and needs and worked with the researchers to design the website and its content.
